Ever tranquil, ever blissful,
Pure Consciousness personified,
grant my prayer to be at Your lotus feet.

You are the very hope of the despondent;
You are love to an afflicted heart;
You are the final shelter for a shelterless wanderer.

You exist in all realms, from their origin to their end,
and my bountiful life is everbuoyant

on the unseen currents of Your love.

Your unbounded grace flows
ceaselessly in all directions.
You are the favourite of all, the most adorable.
You are beyond the ken of human intellect and learning.

You are the repository of all finitude
in the midst of which You sprout.

Yet we cannot know You
who are beyond the limitations of finitude.
When I contemplate You I begin to merge in You;
the casket of my mind,
saturated with the sweet pollen of pandanas,
rushes in total abandon towards You.

Sublime consciousness incarnate.
Grant my heartfelt prayer
to surrender at Thy feet.

Promise of hope to the despondent
sweet succour to the afflicted
final shelter to the shelterless traveler,
You, who reside in all realms
from beginning to end
from birth to death
keep everbuoyant my life
on Your unseen current of love.

Your grace unbounded
spreads pauselessly
to the ten realms.
You, the most adored
remain beyond the scope of human ken.

How shall we realise the one
who beyond the boundaries of finitude
sprouts from the midst of finitude
yet is the repository of finitude?

As I contemplate You
I begin to merge in You.
