'Annihilate The Corrupt' is about extinguishing the corrupt within your life. In the song I parallel my life with the listener's, explaining that I go through the same feelings and struggles that many of them might face. It's about conviction. The "stab through the back of your soul" describes how painful that conviction can sometimes be. Though the song is directed outwards to the listener, it's knowing what's inside myself that makes it possible for me to address conviction. And even though conviction can be painful, I explain that repentance will feed you new life. "I can't breathe alone, You can guide me home, I can feel you here, You can draw me near" explains the giving up of these things to God.
