A UN investigation estimates that it would require about fifty billion dollars to balance out all hunger in the world.
The US spends about fifty billion dollars a year on weapon research alone.
On top of that comes a hundred billion dollars on weapon production and distribution.
Witch means that if the US cancelled their weapon industry for only one year they could balance out all hunger in the world tree times.
Unfortunately this wouldn't be in the best interest of the US government
Because it would mean that they had to lose the buyers of their obsolete weapons:
The hungry and desperate inhabitants of the third world.

When the sun dawns over the scenery of wealth and ignorance of my suburban hometown I can't help but finding it fascinating that the same sun dawns over the main part of the earth's population who is in suffering and pain.
All through history it has proven to be a fact that poverty, suppression and inequality has been the perfect recipe for creating people of bitterness, anger and fanatism.
The n___s, Bolsheviks, IRA and Sheer Muslims are perfect examples of this.
This so called war on terror is one we wage against ourselves
Every time we bomb a developing country back to the Stone Age we are the masterminds of the next terror attack.

All mixed in this world of hunger

The way I see it, what we do or don't do don't really matter.
It will all be swept away in the foaming river of time
And for the most part no trace will be left.
All we can hope to do is reach out and scratch the surface
So the evidence of our existence at least can be seen as rings of change

My point isn't that none of us is doing anything
But that we should do something
We could change the world
