Vasily Grigoryevich Zaitsev, the hero of Stalingrad and the Soviet Union, remains one of the greatest legends of World War Two. Throughout the war, he shot down more than 200 German soldiers only with his tryokhlineyka and his expert eye.

In the Ural Mountains he was but a skilled deer hunter but, in the midst of battle, he became an icon for the whole Soviet army. For his meritorious actions during the war, he was granted the t__le of Hero of the Soviet Union.

Vasily Grigoryevich Zaitsev, el heroe de Estalingrado y la Unión Soviética, sigue siendo una de las más notables leyendas de la Segunda Guerra Mundial. A lo largo de la guerra, mató a más de 200 alemanes sólo con su tryokhlineyka² y su ojo experto.

En los montes urales no era más que un habilidoso cazador de renos pero, en el fragor de la batalla, se convirtió en un ícono para todo el ejército soviético. Por su accionar meritorio durante la guerra, le otorgaron el título de Heroe de la Unión Soviética.
