THE LORD IS MY STRENGTH (PSALM 18)

The Lord is my strength.
The Lord is my rock.
The Lord is my fortress and my deliverer.
The Lord is my rock.
The Lord is my shield.
The Lord is the horn of my salvation.

1. In my distress, I called to the Lord,
and my God heard my plea.
Out of the light, God's pow'r thundered forth,
and smote my enemy.

2. The way of the Lord is perfect indeed,
and His Word has not a flaw.
God is the Shield, the Strength and the Light,
for those who follow His Law!

3. Yes the Lord lives. Praise be to my Rock!
Exalted shall He be.
From enemies, God gives Victory!
Unfailing kindness is He.
