I WILL EXTOL THE LORD, MY GOD! (PSALM 34)

1. I will extol the Lord, my God!
For God has lifted me.
My soul will boast so that all may hear,
and draw their hope from Thee!

Glorify the Lord with me.
Let's exalt His name together!

2. Those who turn to the Lord their God
are never put to shame.
Know that the angels of the Lord
are with those who fear His name!

Taste and see the goodness of God.
Blessed are the people who trust in Him!

3. Come now my children that you may hear,
and come to fear the Lord.
You who seek life, and abundant days:
know that those are God's reward.

Keep your tongues from evil and lies.
Turn from sin, be good, and live in peace.

4. God hears the cries of the righteous man:
in his troubles God is near.
Though we have trials, God delivers us:
In this we need not fear.

God is with the broken in heart.
God is with those who trust in Him.
God saves!
