1. I waited patiently for Thee,
and my Lord, You heard my plea:
You lifted me, lifted me.
From the mire of despair,
O my Lord, were You not there,
to set me free, to set me free?

Many are the wonders You have done, O Lord God.
The things You've planned for us too numerous to count!

How blessed are those who trust in You,
for my Lord, Your Word is true.

2. Sacrifice and offerings:
they are not what You require-
but rather Lord, You want me.
Here I am, Lord, I have come.
Lord, Your will is my desire,
and in my heart will Your law be.

I proclaim Your righteousness to great a__emblies.
I do not seal my lips but praise You, O my God!

I tell of faithfulness and care,
spread Your truth, love, ev'rywhere.
